A GUIDE TO THE NEW RENAISSANCE

Chapter Two

HOW TO ASSURE YOURSELF A PLACE IN THE NEW RENAISSANCE

There are two ways a person may enter the New Renaissance. The first will be by living through the forthcoming trials and tribulations and coming into the New Age "bloody but unbowed." The second will be by reincarnating rapidly. Many of the worthy either will enter their transition before the full dawning of this New Age or will not physically survive the trials, even though they may be qualified to participate in this glorious adventure. These individuals will be allowed to reincarnate rapidly into this New Period and will make up the bulk of the newborn in the early years of the New Renaissance.

Although this chapter is particularly directed to the first of these groups, those who will enter the New Renaissance in this lifetime, it is equally helpful for the second group, as many of the measures necessary to assure a safe entrance into this New World will ensure a rapid return to it.

GOD'S STANDARD

At this time God and Nature have erected a standard which all who wish to enter the New Renaissance must meet. It is not a sliding scale that can be lowered to adjust to the inability of the majority - or of anyone - to conform to it. Those who do not come up to its level will be and are considered, in Biblical terms, weeds, tares, or chaff, to be burnt up. According to the Law of the New Renaissance, only those who meet this predetermined standard will be welcome, even thought this number of worthy citizens may be very small. Were it otherwise, there would be no way the New Renaissance could fulfill its destined mission.

Our purpose, at this time, is not to entreat God to lower His standard, but to help all humanity reach up to or exceed God's measure. The Nazarene encouraged us to be "perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect." This high standard is not required for entrance into the New Renaissance. We must, however, have within ourselves a preponderance of good over evil.

Unfortunately, we are not the judge of this fact. That is left to the Divine Law of God. God's law judges true and reads well our heart and our mind. Because there is no way we can deceive this Law, it behooves us to watch all our thoughts and actions and to harmonize them with the law.

SODOM AND GOMORRAH REVISITED

In the time of Lot the sins of the people were grievous. Yet many of these would seem tame compared with what is now transpiring in some of the nation's large cities. At that time, when the Lord sought to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham interceded and asked the Lord to save them if he could find fifty righteous souls. For the sake of these fifty righteous souls God agreed to spare the evil towns. Abraham then bargained with the Lord further until the number of the required righteous was reduced to ten. We all know what happened after that. Abraham's nephew, Lot, could not even get his married daughters or their husbands to believe him, could not find ten righteous, so the cities were destroyed.

God is seeking righteous persons in the same way today. The standard has not really changed; it is only we who may hope that it will, but those who could not be found at the time of Sodom and Gomorrah are still being sought today. This time, however, we are told, such a group will be found. The biblical prophecy is: "For there shall be a great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

From this statement we have every expectation that a remnant will be saved from the destruction that will soon be upon us. This time "ten righteous men" will be found, and the destruction will not be total, but it will be severe. It is no longer possible to forestall the coming changes. The die has already been cast. Little can be done for those steeped in their evil ways. Even though America is the darling of the Gods, because of the integrity of her Founding Fathers, she must pay the debts she incurred during the last century. Her wounds will be sore, but a great healer will come to bind her wounds and once again put her on the straight and narrow path of her destiny.

The actual number of the "ten righteous men" who will be spared to start the New Renaissance is open to question. A great many good people in this country are now hanging in the balance. What they do during the next few years will determine whether they will be of the "righteous." To these Souls this work is directed. It is they who have the ability to swell the ranks of the "righteous" who will become the phalanx of the New Renaissance.

THE TWO NECESSITIES OF PROTECTION

Protection in the days ahead can be divided into two separate phases, the inner and the outer. The inner refers to all those things that make a person more worthy to be a part of the New Renaissance. The outer, on the other hand, refers to measures that can be taken to avoid being carried along with the destructive whirlwind ahead.

OUTER PROTECTION. The outer protection may be as important as the inner protection when the last days arrive. It is also more obvious, though not necessarily easy. Without doubt, large cities and other centers of worldliness will not be areas where those who wish to survive into the New Renaissance should congregate. It should be rather clear that when the centers of evil begin to be destroyed, they will create a large and dangerous maelstrom that will draw down with them all those who, like Lot's wife, are close enough to "look back."

INNER PROTECTION. In the New Renaissance much more will be expected of the average citizen than at the present time. He will be expected to take full responsibility for his own actions and in all things private and public always ACT LIKE A MAN. Therefore, one of the first requirements for those who wish to become a part of the coming civilization is to DEMONSTRATE THESE SAME QUALITIES OF MANHOOD AT THIS TIME. The Law, in judging you, asks this eminently fair question: If you do not show these traits now, what assurance is there that you would demonstrate them if you were allowed to enter the New Renaissance?

Therefore, number one on the list of qualities to develop to assure yourself a place in the New Renaissance is that of personal responsibility. Second in importance is moral purity.
