The first Renaissance ushered in truly halcyon days for all the arts. Man as a whole saw life in a new vein. The New Renaissance should be a time for new life in the arts, as well. In fact, without the reanimation of harmonious sights and sounds there can be no true New Renaissance.
One of the most difficult occurrences for most of humanistic philosophers to explain is why a bevy of great minds and talents at times suddenly burst upon the world, changed the entire concept of art as it was known up to that time, and then just as abruptly vanished and left, for centuries, only mediocrity and the occasional stray genius. For those who understand the Law of Reincarnation such events are not difficult to explain, if we but place ourselves in the shoes of these great artistic masters.
Imagine yourself in the Soul World. You have had a previous life devoted to bringing beauty to God's earthly children. You are now looking for a time when you will once again be able to bring your gifts to the material world and again be able to bring your gifts to the material world and have them understood and appreciated. For several centuries you have been watching a world where the main interest of the people seemed to be war, violence, technology, and the worship of the sciences that help to bring this about. You see no groups of people ready to accept a poet as they did Pope, Byron, or Shakespeare.
You listen to the "music" of the masses, and you hear nothing that in any way leads you to believe that they would welcome the harmonious strains you have in your Soul waiting to burst forth. As you examine the new art of the world there is little to delight you; it ranges between the ridiculous and the insipid. Literature is on a par with art, except for an occasional bit of erudition. Unfortunately, the best literature is used to discredit the truths of the Universal Law rather than to disseminate them.
Now, I ask you in good conscience, would you want to reincarnate into such a hostile environment? The answer is simple. Unless you have certain masochistic tendencies, you do not. You stay where you are and continue to wait for a more appreciative environment.
At this point the New Renaissance comes into its own. As we can establish a world ready to appreciate artistic beauty and harmony, it will come. When we show that we are ready to appreciate the great art that masters from the past are eager to bring us, they will return to earth in flocks. If we do our part, beginning now, the New Renaissance will be peopled by artists not unlike the Mozarts, Shakespeares, Rembrandts, de Vincis, Beetovens, Bachs, Homers, and others who have civilized the culture of mankind thousands more will make it the most artistic, prolific time in the history of mankind.
This is not a dream. It can be an absolute reality if we all do our part. What is that part? The answer is plain and simple. Beginning today, fill every spare moment, time that is not required by your Spiritual studies, with the type of art, literature, and music that you believe should be a part of the New Renaissance. Read the uplifting literature and poetry of the masters of the past. Listen to the music of the Heavens above as it was brought to man by those agents of God called Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Shubert, Mendelssohn, Chopin, and others. Visit art Museums that display the classical masters, and have good reprints of their paintings in your home so your vision will fall upon them daily as you go about your mundane tasks.
Will such a procedure work, you ask? It cannot fail! As
we all fill our minds and hearts with this exalted beauty, we
send such strong positive vibrations to the Soul World that the
desired Souls will be drawn to us like so many ants to honey.
They are as eager to come to Earth as we are to have them. They
are prepared and ready to GIVE; they only ask for an environment
that will allow their work to be appreciated.
