This book is respectfully didicated
to those physicians in any and every school of medicine who have
in their hearts love for their fellow-men and who are devoting
thought and effort to the relief of the afflicted without consideration
of political affiliation. The author recognizes that in every
calling there are the incompetents and those drunk with power
to whom the misery of the people is of secondary consideration.
Such as these in the medical profession are not physicians but
self-seekers who would enslave both the laity and the profession
to their self-interest - they are the bane of a noble profession
from which only time and enlightenment can finally eliminate them.
___The Author
Years before health providers recognized nutrition's role in health and well-being, Dr. Clymer stressed its importance. Results of an unbalanced diet, the influence of mental states on health, the importance of harmonious food combinations, the digestion of food are among topics discussed.
