THE CIRCLE OF LIVES
Chart of Involution and Evolution of the Immortal
Ego (Reincarnation)

Explanation of Chart
- 1. The Soul in the Soul World (State of Bliss).
- 1 to 2. Involution of the Spirit towards Incarnation.
- 2. Incarnation in the body of a rich and powerful
man. The destiny created by his man during his lifetime is detestable.
- 3. Evolution of the Soul towards the Soul World.
He now realizes that the life he led "below" and is
in a state of remorse over what he has done to his Higher Self
and is now willing to make the necessary atonement in his next
incarnation.
- 4. Reincarnation of the Soul into the body of
a man overwhelmed by adversity, the natural consequence of his
former life.
- 4 to 5. During his present life the man attains
a higher social status than that which was at first assigned
to him. He is a worthy man, loved by all who truly know him.
- 6. Evolution towards the Soul world once again.
His station in now higher than last time because he has learned
much through his suffering and overcoming.
- 7. Reincarnation in the highest grade of society
with the trust that he will have learned from his previous incarnations
and not make the same mistake again.
Suicide
- A. A man belonging to the highest social status
commits suicide (B).
- B to C. His Soul is Earthbound until the expected
time of his death. Due to the circumstances of his death he reincarnates
rapidly so that he may quickly reencounter the problems he sought
to avoid by suicide. Thus he remains in the Ætheric World
to make this easily possible. In a case of suicide, the Soul
remains for some time attached to a kind of empty ghost shell
of the body - the same one from which it desired so to depart.
God is not to be mocked. He and He alone has the right to end
human life. By the act of suicide we only are able to change
our form of misery to one more profound.
- D. Almost immediate reincarnation in the lowest
social scale - often in a deformed or infirm body.
- E to F. Relative evolution during life. Submission
to suffering. Evolution of the Soul in the Soul World.
- G. Reincarnation in a fairly high social status.
Stillborn
- 8. Departure of the Soul for its incarnation.
- 9. Incarnation. The body does not allow the
ego to fulfill its career. The child dies in its earliest infancy.
- 10. Immediate reincarnation after a short journey
into the Ætheric world. (A higher social status rewards
the ego for its first sufferings.
- 11. Evolution towards the Soul World.
