Nature has endowed us with many ways of expressing our feelings and the face is perhaps the quickest means that our inner self has of expressing itself. It can express pain, fear, surprise, anger, embarrassment, disappointment, sorrow and sadness, doubt and uncertainty, sternness, passivity, depression, weariness, exhaustion, pouting, satisfaction, contentment, joy, happiness, cheerfulness and Love just to mention a few. Every mood that we have is expressed by a facial expression which includes the eyes - the window of the Soul.

Facial gestures have also found their way into our e-mail to emphasize and clarify our communications. Many characters on the keyboard can be combined to symbolize facial expression and have gained great popularity.

Our moods and feelings not only reveal themselves via the countenance, but our subconscious mechanism creates unique vibrations which are transmitted into the ether similar to how radio wave are transmitted. These thought and emotional frequencies are then received by other individuals.

Not all people are tuned into all thought and emotional frequencies. Some people are tuned into beneficial frequencies and some are tuned into frequencies on the low end of the bandwidth which are detrimental.

All of us are continually bombarded by every thought and emotional frequency being generated by man, just as a radio receiver is continually bombarded by stations transmitting their programs. It is up to each individual which programs or frequencies are received. It is also up to each individual what thoughts and emotional frequencies are transmitted.

If we desire to radiate or transmit vibrations of Love, Peace and Good Will, all our Thoughts, Desires and Actions must continually be an expression of Love, Peace and Good Will. As we find negative thoughts and desires within ourselves and change them to positive ones, we are building a more powerful and affective transmitter.

Our transmitter is always turned on and is continually sending out our program of Love, Peace and Good Will. Our program will reach everyone, but not everyone is tuned into the proper frequency to receive all the benefits. There are many ways we can help others to tune into our program of Love, Peace and Good Will. One method is by using a Smile and it will definitely work like Magic.

We have all smiled and know that it takes a good thought and feeling to manifest a natural smile. Good thoughts and feelings are so closely associated with smiles that the reverse process works effectively also. Hold a smile on your face and you will recall good thoughts and feelings. In occult teachings, this can be explained as part of Hermes' Law of Correspondences - "As the inner, so is the outer" and vice versa "As the outer, so is the inner".

This is the secret behind the Magic Smile. It will be one of your tools to help others to tune into your program and receive Love, Peace and Good Will. It is more fun to work with total strangers because your friends and acquaintances are already familiar with your loving nature.

To practice your Magic Smile, select a busy pedestrian area such as a downtown street in the business district, a shopping mall, a sports event, an airport terminal or any place where people will pass by you. Establish, in your mind, your goal of sending out Love, Peace and Good Will to everyone. As someone approaches you, wait for eye contact. When eye contact is established, give a friendly smile. When you see a responding smile, you will know their receiver is in tune with your transmitter. Their smile has also activated their center of Love, Peace and Good Will. At this moment there will be an exchange of loving energy, and I am sure many of you will be able to sense the return transmission.

There is no age limit of those who will respond to your Magic Smile. From toddlers to the elderly, everyone loves a smile and its associated feelings. Even the downtrodden and homeless will respond and may be filled with hope and optimism. By using the Magic Smile you will not only put a little extra cheerfulness and happiness in someone's day, but you will receive manifold benefits in return. And who knows, it could just have a small rippling effect in the world. Try it, you'll like it. It could become a habit. Remember: You are helping to shape the future of our world.

The soul is eternal and incarnates into human existence again and again, through the cycle of birth and death, for the purpose of its own development.

All souls were conceived within the mind of GOD at the same time. We were created at the same time and given free will. Our free will is what determines or distinguishes soul ages. Soul ages refers to how a person has grown from each lifetime on Earth, not just how many lifetimes he or she has lived. No person, or soul is ahead or behind any other, but is simply where they need to be based on their choices and their free will. Souls start out in their Earthly lives as infants and end their series of incarnations when they have reached full maturity as old souls. -Infant souls are raw, without experience and are adjusting to a new existence, the physical plane.
-Learning how to survive is their primary cconcern.
-They usually choose lives in primitive culltures or conditions that stress the survival element.
-Infant souls in a more advanced culture suuch as the United States, appear out of place and do not fit into society.
-They will generally live in less populatedd, rural areas.
-Their lives are pretty rough and usually sshort.

BABY SOULS

Learning - Structure, Law and Order
Areas of Predominance - Small communities in the USA, Iran, Iraq, most Muslim countries, China, Ireland, Much of Central and South America and India.
Characteristics:

-Structure, law and order helps the baby soul to feel comfortable in the world.
-They like their lives to be structured andd look to authority to provide the structure.
-They are usually extremely conservative annd their religious beliefs tend to be fundamental.
-They are the people who are very patrioticc, look to doctors as Gods, and actually believe and trust politicians.

YOUNG SOULS

Learning - Power, Wealth and Fame
Areas of Predominance - USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, Israel, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Canada.
Characteristics:

-The young Soul looks to see how powerful it can become in the world.
-They now begin to establish themselves as the authorities that the baby souls look to.
-This soul age is the most competitive periiod in the entire cycle of lifetimes. Young souls seize what the physical plane has to offer, striving to gain positions of prominence, power and great wealth.
-Independence and the ability to get what oone wants out of life is the driving force of the young soul.
-Ambition is important to the young soul annd there is a great drive to get ahead. They tend to be ruthless and they don't care who they step on, on their way to the top. Integrity is not in their dictionary. If they can make money or gain influence, the long term consequences of any act aren't terribly important.
-The problems with the environment and toxiic wastes being dumped everywhere is one result of being a young soul culture in a hurry to make a buck.
-Most all politicians and business executivves are young souls.
-Due to their ambition and drive, young souuls were the founders of architects of all great empires.
-Our planet is currently populated with mosstly late level young souls. Therefore, the dominant political, social and cultural systems reflect these values.
-Many people rise to fame and prominence duuring this period such as politicians, business executives, movie stars, TV anchors, religious leaders, singers, etc.
-Young souls are very conservative in theree beliefs and are skeptical when confronted with any experience beyond what is subject to scientific proof.
-They usually do not concern themselves witth metaphysics, philosophy, or religious experience.
-They are the most highly motivated toward success in whatever career they pursue and work the hardest to achieve it.

MATURE SOULS

Learning - Emotions and deeper meaning
Areas of Predominance - Italy, Greece, Mexico, Egypt and more recently the USA, England and Israel.
Characteristics:

-This is the emotional and feeling level.
-The mature soul age is where they begin too open themselves to emotional issues.
-This is the age where we seek a greater meeaning towards life, and we ask the questions, "Who am I, and Why am I here?".
-This is a time for introspection, self-disscovery and spiritual seeking.
-Relationships with others are more importaant than personal success or career.
-Mature souls are less self-concerned and oorient themselves towards others, especially in groups.
-Mature souls often give themselves lives oof emotional turmoil and drama in order to open themselves emotionally. This is the soul level where there is the most incidence of suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, and terminal diseases.
-This is one of the most difficult of ages..
-The 60's introduced and facilitated an undderstanding of the mature soul consciousness.
-Mature souls are not driven by money and ppower as the young soul. When a mature soul comes into prominence, it's more from enthusiasm and less from ambition.
-Mature souls usually seek a higher educatiion from non-traditional schools.
-This is a period marked by an inner and ouuter exploration.
-The value of the mature soul aspect is in the full development of conscience, compassion and the ability to be emotionally connected, fulfilled and to give and receive love.

OLD SOULS

Learning - Completion, Teaching and Sharing
Areas of Predominance - Iceland, Holland, Czechoslovakia. In the US States- Oregon, Washington & Northern California. Cities - Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico and Boulder and Denver, Colorado.
Characteristics:

-Old souls are completing their physical plane experiences and karma as part of their spiritual growth process.
-Old souls learn to detach from emotional iintensity of the mature cycle and they gradually detach from the physical plane entirely.
-Once all aspects of human existence are fuully accepted and integrated, and old soul becomes eligible to move on to other planes of existence.
-The last lesson for an old soul is to learrn unconditional love, toward themselves and toward others. This is the most difficult lesson because it means self-forgiveness as well as being able to love others to the extent that you can give them permission to be on their own chosen path.
-Old souls perceive the interconnectedness existing among all people and all there is.
-Understanding the game of life and seeing the whole picture in all situations, the old soul is calmer more peaceful and centered.
-Old souls are considered unusual, eccentriic and unconventional in this young soul culture.
-Most old souls do not grow into their fulll soul perception until about age 35 or so, but before then they will be accused of stepping to the beat of a different drummer.
-Old souls do their best to live a life of integrity, do no harm to others or judge others.
The old soul has a need to find a way of expressing themselves in their personal life and career that is in alignment with their inner purpose.
-Old souls have the ability to rise above tthe mundane events of life and put them in touch with the greater purpose of being here.
-Old souls have an agreement to teach and aassist others along their chosen paths of spiritual development. They have a commitment to their own growth and healing as well as a commitment to complete existence on the phsical plane by integrating and balancing all the different aspects of their entire being, infant though old.
-There is a great motivation for spiritual grownth and all energy is poured into spiritual development.
-Old souls tend to be extremely competent iin a wide range of things - which often aren't pursued.
-They will try to find work or careers thatt support theri personal growth such as counselors, teachers, body workers, etc.
-There is an inner desire to understand mettaphysics, astrology, tarot and other ancient teachings.
-Since old souls have previously handled maany emotional issues, they come to the planet examining intellectual, philosophical and spiritual issues. They are beatnicks and hippies of the50's and 60's.
-A major challenge of the old soul is a masstering self-esteem. No one is complete until there self-forgiveness and self-love
-Few old souls become famous, and when theyy do it is usually to teach, for the old soul is the teacher. None of us are allowed to complete the physical plane experience until everything we have learned is shared with at least one other person.

Understanding soul ages teaches you to develop your ability to understand and accept yourself and others. It is unlikely that you would find an old soul making a climb up the corporate ladder. Likewise, it is in error to expect an aggressive young soul attorney to turn his or her attention towards saving the environment. By recognizing that souls evolve through different levels of consciousness, we are able to accept the path of others, and we are all learning lessons regardless of what it may look like. With this understanding comes total acceptance and unconditional love which is our final goal.

Note: The planet is shifting towards a more mature soul perception. People are acting out of group consciousness and are becoming interested in the connected harmony of the planet as a whole. With this shift of mature souls perception comes an increase in spiritual awareness.

The concept of astral projection has been around for a long time, but until today, it has been hidden from most of humanity. Now, with the aid of astral projection, new levels of knowledge and power enable us to discover the answer to Man's eternal question about life in the physical body. Death takes on a new meaning as we begin to realize that it is only a transition to another dimension, or place of existence. By learning to astral project, we can learn many things about ourselves, and unlearn many things that were previously thought to be true. This leads us to the realization that our physical bodies are only a part of our entire selves, and there is more to our existence than meets the eye!

In our limited awareness, the reality we live and breathe on earth, with its beautiful landscapes, mountains, rivers, streams, animals and insects, can be compared with the petals on a flower. What we see is not the whole flower, but only a part. This is because man has lost touch with the use of his own mind. He concludes, erroneously, that the physical world is the only reality there is. He believes that his life as an individual has only to do with the flesh body of himself, and concludes that the physical world is solid and real because his senses tell him it "feels" solid and real. The mind has abilities that go beyond the five senses of the physical world. The petal of the flower that we now experience is the material world or physical plane of existence. It has a specific vibration, just as all creatures on this level vibrate at the same rate. Because of this, regardless of where we go on this level, all things take on the appearance of being solid, material objects. Just as the colors of the rainbow show the effects of the different vibrations of light, and the melodies on the piano show the effect of the different notes, so, too, does the entire universe contain various octaves, or rates of vibration. These universal harmonics comprise the different levels of existence.

So the earth plane we live on is only one of many dimensions. There are other spheres that we describe as being above or below us. Actually, they are not really above or below us, but rather at all times around us, permeating all things. Astral projection allows us to discover that the people and objects existing on these other realms can be just as solid and real as any object on the earth terrain. And if we happened to be in another level, looking back "down" into this region, we would view an earth that was not solid. Right now, at every instant, we are living, coexisting with, and walking through people and objects of another dimension! When a person astral projects, he or she can see these other frontiers.

When we were born into this physical world, we were provided with a physical body to carry out our duties. Astral projection allows us to project "out of the body" and into the next plane of existence, which is the astral plane. When we do this, we are in another body, which is called the "astral body." We already possess this astral body, just as all other people, animals, creatures and everything on earth possess an astral body.

The astral body has some amazing properties. Unlike the physical body, which is held down by gravity, the astral body can overcome this limitation by the effort of thought alone. While out of the body, we can not only walk around as if in the physical, but also soar above the trees, or go out into space. Another property of the astral body is that it cannot be injured. One of the greatest fears while on earth is pain or injury. While out of the body, this normal human reaction can be unlearned, because there is absolutely nothing that will cause damage to the astral body! In the next dimension, fire, knives, guns, falling from great heights, electrical shocks, disease, wild animals or being run over by a steam roller can do no harm. Many people receive lessons about this in their dreams. Watch for them, because you'll discover that you always survive—don't you?

In this next level of existence, which all of us can visit, there are many familiar things, such as cars, trains, planes, and highways. Everything that is on this earth right now comes from the astral plane. Many people get this backwards. They think the astral dimension was molded from earth. The truth is, the earth was fashioned from the ideas and discoveries which originated on the astral.

When we are out of the body, communication is accomplished by thought. Another word for this is telepathy. In other words, it is not necessary to move our lips in order to be heard, although we can do this if we wish. Sometimes, when we hear what we think is just a thought, this could actually be someone communicating to us from the astral.

This next plane of existence has been sought after, researched, and argued about by philosophers and religious people from time immemorial. Until now, it has remained elusive and has evaded discovery to all but the most diligent. The individual who looks within instead of without, who looks to correct his own imperfections, and who treats others as he wishes to be treated will have the door of discovery swing wide open for him.

When we begin to explore this, we must first overcome the obstacle of fear, which will present itself in many forms. The fear of death, pain, injury, the unknown, evil, devils, hell and Satan may loom up before us. We must conquer our own fears head on, and they will rapidly disappear.

We are mental creators, and out of the ether of the next dimension, we can create that which we wish around us. If we are convinced a devil is out there to trick or deceive us, and if we have already pictured in our minds what this devil looks like and what he plans on doing, we should really not be surprised when our worst fears are confirmed. The devils we create become real and solid in the next dimension because we created them.

In the astral plane, we can meet those we love, or that which we fear. If we have no fear, we won't meet fear. It's as simple as that. So we can save ourselves trouble by putting nonsense like that out of our mind. Remember there is nothing that can harm us while we are out of our bodies. This teaching of fear has held people in mental bondage long enough! Its exposure is sure to cause a fury in those who have become trapped in the habit of their own thinking. We must release ourselves from the death grip of fear and set ourselves free.

In the astral plane, we can also visit our loved ones who have passed on before us. We can then ask them face-to-face how they like their new surroundings. We can see schools and universities, and may even find ourselves in a classroom, listening to a lecture.

This is also where we can discover the history of the world, and the history of our lives. The "Hall of Records" contains our present lives as well as our past. In it, are recorded our accomplishments and our failures. We can meet our spiritual teachers—which the churches have termed our "guardian angels"—and we can ask them for advice and guidance on our problems.

The astral plane is a vast dimension of existence, and contains life in abundance. It does not operate by the very same laws of the earth plane, and so many things that are quite impossible on earth, are quite commonplace in the astral. Mind over matter is common. Colors are more beautiful, and we may experience endless fascination with new and exciting things that there are to see and discover.

For many centuries, the teachings of certain churches have been that some things are mysteries and are not to be questioned. Eve eating from the tree of knowledge and the subsequent expulsion from the Garden of Eden was sighted as proof. This erroneous interpretation was made by those who were ignorant, or by those who wanted to keep the masses of people in subjugation. Man's redemption in the final analysis will come from his knowledge of himself and his love of his neighbor, not from his ignorance.

The astral plane contains many things that are not on earth at this time. Some of them may appear in the future on earth, and some are from the earth's past. Many different types of animals that have become extinct on earth exist in the astral. Remember, there is no death.

Astral projection enables us to use the part of our mind that has been dormant or sleeping. We can wake up this part and put it to work. It is called the subconscious, and it can be used to give us the knowledge we need to find out more about ourselves, our purpose on earth, and our relationship with God. Most people think of their mind as only that portion they recognize as their conscious mind, or waking mind. It has been said that the mind is ten percent conscious, and ninety percent subconscious. We can learn to expand this ten percent.

Everyone goes to the astral plane at night while they are asleep. Think of this! Astral projection takes place without a person even being aware of it! As strange and hard to believe as this sounds, it is true. To begin exploring astral projection, pay attention to your dreams each night. Eventually, you will come to the realization that you were in the astral plane, but did not realize it.

When we take the first step, of allowing for the possibility of multiple dimensions and astral projection as realities, we can then focus on ways to understand, explore, and actually experience these things. In doing so, we can open the door to an amazing and expansive existence that was heretofore beyond our wildest imagination!

First, we must have a commitment to Self and Source, in order to understand who we uniquely are; from this strong awareness and personal foundation, we are better able to enter into healthy relationship with friends, family, lovers, and colleagues. Instead of asking is this my soul mate? Why not ask, what does this relationship have to offer? Does he or she bring out your personal best? Does he or she challenge you to grow and evolve? Is he or she interested in spiritual advancement? Is he or she your highest complimentary partner? Do you feel in your heart that the one for you is still out there?

Above all else, I have seen countless times when two individuals can have fabulous, harmonious relationship astrology; but if they have not yet worked through their personal issues, (natal astrology) and if they are not complete with their past, hence, possessing too much emotional baggage this will interfere with the ability for healthy relationship now. As a result, he or she may not be availablefor union on the level you desire. There will always be challenges to every relationship, even if you are twin flames or soul mates. You may not have a soul agreement for a long term partnership. This is why situations do not always harmoniously line up between two people who love each other. Love is a stepping stone in the development of an individual, it is unconditional, total commitment to another. We grow to love and love to grow and in that way merge with the Universal Intelligence and in so doing can hope to manifest a soul mate. The joy of life is in taking the raw material we each possess and making sparkling gems and intricate tapestries out of it. There is no greater magic than love. Love and the human spirit are our most enduring gift from God.

Friendship is an attraction and magnetism of souls, not a union of personalities. Intimate friends are soul mates. Sometimes friendships bloom in an instant; other times they must be cultivated. Loyalty and feelings can sustain friendships that are a blending of intimacy and individuality.

What is a soul mate? Someone you meet at a soul level, feel what the other is feeling at the same time. Soul mates meet in this world at this time and merge as ecstatic, creative, evolving and living souls.

In a human's lifetime an individual could know hundreds of soul mates or have many connections among their peers. How one works, plays, dreams, aspires, thinks, relates to others and lives their life is reflected from previous time zones. All life experience is evaluated and taken into consideration in looking at one's personality. Shared past lives is the prerequisite for an important soul mate relationship in this one. Their union is in existence to teach and support each other. Both must have lived in other times and known each other there. Perhaps there was unfinished business between the two that has to be resolved, or unlearned lessons from the past resurface.

Every living thing has a soul, from plant life to animals to humans there is a memory of lives lived in the past carried forward in the cell structure. As humans we have numerous connections to others during the span of our lifetime. There are mental, emotional, physical and sexual connections people experience while involved romantically. A man and woman of similar age may be soul mates, but familial and not sexual while two men may hit it off famously and be alike in mentality. There is no sexual connection between the two. Two women who open up to each other realize they are soul sisters from a long time ago and continue their friendship in this lifetime.

The chance meeting of soul mates is predestined for their soul's growth. All learning is a procedure of remembering the past. We are the sum total of all our experience from the beginning of time. Soul mates recognize their counterparts internally if they have bonded with that person previously. In an instant the human system simply "knows" they have come into contact with one of their soul mates. The conversation between the two is easy, there is no tension, friction, sexual frustration, competition or bickering. Soul mates think the same thoughts at the same time, reading one another's minds. They tune in to each other's energy in harmony. Two people who are put together at a certain time for a certain reason = synchronicity. Those who are able to love can't help but gain within themselves. In this union the following must be present:
Honesty
Trust
Respect
Affection
Spontaneity

A soul mate couple is usually similar in appearance, belief systems, likes and dislikes, abilities and shares much in common. This combination denotes a twin flame, or mirror image of self. Twin flames have no barriers between them, no rules of love; they are one in spirit and in their spiritual origin. Partners in the true sense, similar in outlook, compatible because their soul development is at the same level at the same time. They work well together, are project-oriented, well-mated and often have similar facial features and physiques. Their inner ties run deep, beyond companionship. They are a mirror of mind, spirit and soul with the secret longings and aspirations of their love partners, with the God mind, Universal Intelligence.

Soul work requires a widening of the heart and mind and opening to fate. Soul is made by asking for concentrated cultivation from self. Soul mates are stimulating and demanding; they tend to bring out the best in each other. Sometimes soul mates ask self why they are unhappy.

Relationship can be a spiritual path of enlightenment. The basis of any relationship must be built on truthful communication where neither person feels superior or the top dog all the time. In a solid soul mate relationship the leadership should be passed back and forth between the couple. On some days one partner is in control and has all the bright ideas and their partner goes along with the flow. The next time the creative thought processing may come from the other person. Neither is constantly the leader or the follower. When one knows what they want in a mate and where to go to locate that person, they are bound to find it. Soul mates "know instinctively" and search out their equals. When one finds their soul mate from another lifetime the relationship will last forever.

Admitting to self, "I want my other half, my true partner, my soul mate in this world" sends the signal to their soul mate where ever they may reside, who hears their inner gut-wrenching cry, and answers the call home. Soul mates bond and feel as if they are one; two minds working in tandem as a single unit. Nurturing and loving, this bond can be with friends, lovers or family members. Soul mates are created at a soul level. A person needs to get in touch with their own essence, to feel the soul and get a sense of what gives them true happiness. One must discover how to clear out the old patterns and allow the new ones in. By asking Universe, the angels and one's higher self for guidance in bringing to them who and what they desire and need, it can happen. Of course blocking and the walls one puts up must be removed or they will keep the person from attracting anyone new into their life. By setting up inner changes the path for a soul mate to enter is clear, waiting on the perfect timing to occur. To get a soul mate's attention one's natural vibration has to be revved up, working as a beacon in the night. A person with high energy can feel their soul mate's presence even if they are in a room with 400 people.

Most marriages are mismatched. Relationship is not a project to be taken on, it is grace. Humans are not used to dealing with grace artfully. One must appreciate and give thanks, honor, celebrate life, tending to another and be observant. The soul of any relationship wants respect, autonomy and mystery. A relationship is not in existence to make us feel good, but instead to lead us into the many pathways and openings that are our destiny and potential. What is of utmost importance is not what you get out of a relationship, but what you give to it. A true mate is the other half of self. What is given to a mate is re-given. It is not only about the people who interact with each other, but the vehicle that shapes life. Relationships that touch the soul lead us into a dialogue with eternity and the Divinity itself. Relationships have some difficulties in the beginning where emotions may be strong but confusing. Many share the experience of drama and ecstasy, of discovering and possibly losing their soul mates, not just in this lifetime but in other lifetimes as well.

Love should flow with spontaneity; it should not be structured. True love in everyday living is enduring and mutually satisfying to both partners. It is giving to another, and whatever is given out should be returned. The purpose of life is "Growth". Soul mates are growth relationships. There are many different kinds of relationships that come from the soul's desire to experience growth. Soul mates produce a powerful energy which becomes a force of its own. A new, fresh, boundless energy with it's own identity forms out the union. The vibrations of love act as a teacher, thus the soul mates grow, together. Sex is a profound, far-reaching aspect of the soul, bringing together body, emotion and imagination in an intense experience that touches every fiber of feeling within. Sex offers guidance where strong emotions reside. It is a form of education, not just the physical expression of love, but an aspect of one's entire life. Issues one may be worrying about can affect the intensity of lovemaking for better or worse. The soul is affected more by our treatment of desire and longing than by our failure to get everything right. There is something playful about erotic experiences.

Jung mentions the path finding ball, a magical way in which life sets the soul in motion. It is our invitation to adventure, a phenomenon that lures one away from their normal routines. Life itself can be a playful mood. Sex can be an inquiry of the inner child to reach the depths of soul, to come out and play. Casting away doubts, the fear of being hurt and being able to give and receive love is what one desires. Soul mates are one, but have in the past, separated and lived their own lives, apart. This is so they can appreciate each other all the more when they come together in the next lifetime. The value of having a soul mate in one's life increases one's understanding. An external reality, soul mate is a dual inner reality which is not realized unless interacting love exists. With a soul mate in one's life, they become more aware, alert, constantly forced to confront self. Like 2 mirrors seeing each other's weaknesses and strengths, they can work on problem areas to correct faults within each other. Soul mates give each other self confidence. Anthony Robbins wrote: "It's not what is happening to you in this lifetime, but has happened to you in the past that determines who you will become in the future. It is your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you and what you're going to do about those issues that set your ultimate destiny."

Learn to trust your heart. The point is not in knowing another person, but how tender can we bear to be? What good manners can we show as we welcome others into our heart.

At times soul mates miss the opportunity to find one another; two ships passing in the night. Maybe one is tied up with another individual and unable to obtain their freedom. A reuniting cannot take place and this is sad, but happens many times. There is no reversal in some situations. Ideally, a soul mate arrives on the scene when their other half is free and wishing for the existence of one to bond with who is like them.

The biggest message life brings us is, be yourself. Truthfulness is the strongest aphrodisiac, the way to keep the romance flowing in a close love relationship. Truth produces a greater aliveness between two parties. Soul power is a creative, loving reality waiting to awaken within the conscious reality of everyone.

Find or create 8 rods of the same substance, using 3/32-inch gas welding rods, wooden dowels, or another material. Cut 4 rods 25 inches long, and cut 4 rods 14 5/8 inches long. Place the long rods vertically at the corners of a square or rectangle either inside or outside of the building or property. Then place the shorter rods half way between the long rods at the midpoint of each edge. If the rods are placed outside the walls of a structure, they are also protecting the structure itself from geopathic stress. Inside rods may need masking tape to hold them in place. Outside rods can be driven into ground, and it is okay if they bend a little. Rods do not have to be at exactly the same elevation. Pacing works fine to measure the distance. If you are a dowser or an intuitive, observe what happens to the space and geopathic stress lines before and after placing the rods.

This is an ancient Egyptian technique modified from the data taught by Doug Benjamin of Walled Lake, Michigan. The measurements are sacred Egyptian cubits (there are several). The resonance created with this sacred geometry converts the stress lines into a more useful form of energy to the body from about 350 to 500 feet above and below the level of the rods. This method supplants placing L-rods straddling the center core of the Hartmann and geopathic lines. It also obviates the necessity of being a master dowser. This technique enhances the use of and is a great extension for Feng Shui. Many have described health dysfunctions disappearing after the rods were installed simply due to decreased stress.

Have you ever wondered how the sounds of a city affect your mind and body and why the sounds of nature are becoming of more and more importance?

Since the beginning of time most of the ancient cultures of the world used sound as a means for healing, raising consciousness and maintaining good health. Today, unfortunately, we live in a world where noise pollution is doubling every ten years. Our bodies and psyches are constantly bombarded with noise, especially in the larger cities. Our modern culture has lost its connection to the Great Kung, the rhythms and cycles of nature and the universe. This disharmony can cause imbalance & disease within us. For this reason it is understandable why more and more people are drawn to the peaceful environmental sounds of nature. The sounds of nature play an incredibly important role for our well being by having a calming effect on our total being, especially the sound of water, for it is in hearing these sounds that we regain our inner equilibrium.

Through the intentional use of sound therapy inner harmony and balance of mind, body and spirit can be restored, reconnecting us with the natural rhythm and cycles of our world. Sound works on all levels of our being, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It also affects the brain and nervous system directly through the sense of hearing. In the last ten years, our modern culture has caught on to its amazing transforming effects. The body is 80% water, so it's a natural conductor for sound, this is one of the reasons it is so effective. Sound travels four times faster through water than it does through air. So our bodies are like sounding boards responding immediately to the effects of sound at the cellular level. The body is a mass of vibrating atoms and molecules in which vibration is its fundamental characteristic. Your body and emotions are constantly emitting sounds they're just not audible while our cells and bones readily absorb them. If we put sand on a drum head and began playing you would see the particles of sand begin to rearrange themselves into perfect geometrical patterns just as our cells do internally when "listening" to sound.

My own personal work with sound therapy has transformed my life as well as the lives of many of my clients. My journey began as a professional singer after having five diagnosed cases of vocal nodules. I fervently began a regime of working with the breath, visualization and vibration. Soon after I began my disciplined practice, I returned to the doctor and he reported that the nodules had completely disappeared. I have seen some amazing things happen with clients as well. One woman insisted that the lump in her breast had moved during the treatment. Another person called me the day after a treatment stating, "that she was no longer using her pain pills because the pain had left". While five different other clients all reported that their pain had not come back. One woman experiencing severe depression gradually reached a point where she was smiling and laughing. Each case is totally different and depends on the clients willingness to heal and to make necessary changes in their life. It really doesn't matter whether a person believes in it or not it because it operates on the principles of physics. Sound moves matter. The principle tools I use are: the voice, harp, tuning forks and Tibetan bowls. A sound treatment is generally an hour long and varies depending on the needs of the client.

The voice is an expression of each person's spirit. It holds an extraordinary power to shift and adjust the body by removing blockages in the body and emotions. The vibratory qualities in the voice can initiate vibration from one person to another removing these blockages by bringing subconscious material stored in the body to the surface. The voice also carries with it a living consciousness therefore the intention of the sound facilitator is important. It also stimulates endorphins and synchronizes the brain.

The harp has been steeped in a long healing tradition throughout history and its wide pitch range can vibrate the entire body. Pythagoras suggested that the strings of the harp were symbols of the nervous system. I use a large nonpedal harp. I also use a smaller harp which can be placed directly on the body, allowing the vibrations to move throughout the entire body.

Tuning forks can be used as a diagnostic tool as well as a treatment tool. The nervous system adjusts to the sounds of the forks harmonizing and attuning itself, changing muscle tone and the tone of the nervous system. They can be used on specific acupuncture points.

Tibetan Bowls originated during the Bronze Age in ancient China (2500BC-200AD). They contain the seven holy metals which represent the seven holy planets. The body contains the seven metals in which there is a correlation between the planets, metals, our psychological and physical health.

Looking at the drawing below, we see a three dimensional representation of a cube. The moment we see it, we established in our mind what it is, based on our knowledge of having seen cubes before. The orientation of the cube will remain fixed in our mind unless we can change our thinking. Actually, there is another cube in the drawing that has a different orientation.

To see the other cube we must substitute our original thought about it with a new one. To do this, we must decide what the other cube should look like. When we know what the new cube should look like, we will see it change instantly. The cube will remain in the new orientation unless we change our thinking again. We can see the cube in only one direction at a time.

We can use this same technique when we have negative thoughts that we know are not good to keep.

Our feelings are a direct result of our thoughts. Thoughts determine what we attract to ourselves as well as what our future will be.

A thought held in the mind long enough will eventually create a desire. The desire will lead to action.

Since the mind can think of only one thing at a time, when a negative thought enters the mind we should immediately substitute it with a positive thought. This may be difficult to do in the beginning. The first step is to recognize a negative thought. Then realize that you can change it. As you practice, you will become more proficient and soon thinking positively will become automatic, and the sub-conscious (Soul) will assume authority as the acting entity.

Kundalini and Enlightenment

We all hear of the concept of the "Enlightened Master", and I do believe they exist.

However, awakened kundalini DOES NOT automatically make one an enlightened master. It just means that you've begun to access your inner energies and begin creating your life as you intended to live it when you came back here.

Awakening the kundalini is NOT the end result or the goal. It's just a waypoint on your spiritual/emotional/physical development. It's like crossing a river. Now you're on the other side, but the journey continues. I've met people whose sole focus in life was the kundalini. That's all they want to study or talk about. While the study of kundalini
can in fact encompass EVERYTHING, if you read everything only looking for the paragraphs that have the word 'kundalini' in them and ignore the rest...

Awakening the kundalini is a part of discovering our true self. In western society we learn to wear a variety of masks, each of which represents a part of our learned personality. We LEARN to be different people for different situations.

Awakening the kundalini clears all of that away, leaving the student (or victim depending on ones outlook) with a completely clean slate.

After awakening the kundalini all of the masks that you've learned to wear will have been completely stripped away and for most of us it can be a very frightening time. Suddenly everything that you thought you knew about yourself is different, and suddenly everything else looks different as well as you're not seeing it from behind the masks of your learned ego. What do you do with that?

The simple answer (beware the simple answers in life) is that now you can become the person that you were MEANT to be, rather than the person that you were TAUGHT to be.

Your next step on the path here is to *surrender* to yourself and be willing to go where you have to go and do what you have to do, to be the person you were meant to be.

Druids and Meditation

It's pretty obvious that the ancient Druids used several forms of meditation. That the Druids were able to still and control their minds is unquestioned, but the techniques they used have apparently been lost to the ravages of time and the lack of written records.

As with much of the re-creation of the Druid paths, we find ourselves turning to other cultures and methodologies to fill in the gaps. Before the cries of "Untraditional" become too loud I think I should point out that meditation and mind control/self awareness are universal to the human being. Everyone who's ever lived on this planet has had the ability to access their inner energies and power to varying degrees. Today we find ourselves without the social framework of the ancient Druids. Rather than a single unified entity we find that our Tribe is scattered to the winds without a common language or concept of what it means to be a Druid. It's a period of creation and re-creation and thanks to the easy availability of printed sources and the internet we find that once again we can begin to study and put together systems
for training Druids.

Meditation and energy work are areas where many of the modern Druid Circles seem to be lacking. Anyone who's
ever been to any sort of ritual can attest to the feel of the energy that rises during the ritual. As I dabbled in and then studied energy work I discovered that it was much easier to feel when the ritual energy actually formed and then began to rise. One of the problems that I've found when attending various Pagan and Wiccan rituals is the lack of focus on what to actually DO with that energy. I recently attended a very nice Wiccan Solstice ritual. The energy rose very
nicely into a crescendo towards the end of the ritual and hung there expectantly. Then the ritual ended with the energy still active. After the ‘end' of the ritual everyone in the circle kept standing there for a few moments, intuitively feeling the energy and reluctant to leave it.

Many Pagans seem to view meditation as interesting and cool, but not really a part of their path. I couldn't disagree more. Rituals and spells are all about creating a focused energy and then sending that energy to DO something. The ability to clear ones mind and sense and feel energy at an advanced level can not only enhance the energy that you create, but it can improve your ability to focus it and use it.

In my upcoming articles on Druidry I'll include several exercises for feeling the energy of the natural world around us and even drawing that energy into ourselves and using it. Before you get to that point, however, it's important to be able to feel your own energy and use it. Rather than re-invent the wheel my purpose with this article is to point out the necessity of using meditation and focused energy. The next few articles in this series will show you exactly how to do that.

The Brain Scrub for Druids

The Brain Scrub is designed to help you overcome the "monkey mind" which leaps and bounces around from subject to subject in an uncontrolled manner. After mastering this exercise you'll be able to instantly clear and calm your mind in any situation, allowing you to focus completely on any subject.

Sit on the floor "Indian style". Don't worry about trying to sit in any particular position. If you wish you can sit upright in a chair, just sit towards the front and let your feet rest flat on the floor. Keep your spine straight, shoulders back and just let your hands rest in your lap. Take a moment to relax and let your breathing soften.

Now, as you inhale focus on the number 1. Hold your focus and exhale. On the next inhale focus on the number 2 and so on until you get to 10. The purpose here is to focus entirely on the numbers and not allow any other thoughts to intrude. Remember to breathe as I outlined in the article on Breathing.

DO NOT beat yourself up with this exercise! Our minds are constantly at work and the untrained mind will bounce from thought to thought continually (monkey mind) and even during this exercise you'll have other thoughts arise.

The key is not to attach to any of those thoughts. When other thoughts arise just let them evaporate like a wisp of smoke, passing unheeded through your consciousness and on out of your head.

Your goal is to count from 1 to 10 without attaching to any intruding thoughts, and if you do find yourself thinking of anything other than your target number then go back to one and start over.

This exercise is invaluable for learning to control your mind, and even seasoned meditators will find it useful to go back and practice occasionally.

This exercise is especially good for the Druid because once you can completely calm your mind you open up to a whole new world of feeling and sensation. Now the world takes on a new feel because you have the ability to be so much more aware of it.

One of the problems with the monkey mind is the fact that it uses up your awareness. Once you can still the mind you can open up to the deeper levels and become aware of the inner voices (you can call them spirit guides, angels, demons or whatever) that can lead you in the directions you need to go. It also allows you to become aware of the other energies that surround you, making it easier to extend your senses in new directions.

EVERYTHING is about awareness and intention! (Get used to hearing that) Once you develop your awareness it's
very easy to focus your intention to create the results you're looking for. That's magick of the highest order.
